Secdev.cyber transforms situational awareness into actionable situational understanding.
We are a Canadian company specialized in applying evidence-based approaches to the cyber domain. We are founded by the principals behind the OpenNet Initiative, Information Warfare Monitor, Malware Lab, Psiphon and the team responsible for breakthrough research in the cyber domain including the Ghostnet, Tom-Skype surveillance, and targeted malware research.
We leverage the fusion methodology developed by the Citizen Lab, Munk Center for International Studies, University of Toronto, and the Advanced Network Research Group, University of Cambridge, that combines methods from advanced technical research and the social sciences. We continue to work with and support advanced research at the Citizen Lab upholding the principle that cyberspace should remain a global commons.
